So many people nowadays are having a so-called career fears, which they are often thinking about, what-am-I-gonna-do-to-be-a-successful-person thing. They do believe that the more difficult (or expensive) the subject is, the more successful they become. It's practically makes every parents rely their responsibility to the teacher.

Here I mention why you should have a high awareness about education, as you are going to be a teacher.

1) People's perception about being a teacher is somewhat humiliating.
Of course you often heard about it, right? Small salary, lowly job, etc. Maybe you feel like wanna push down all the people who said that to the cliff nearby, but then you realize, it's not about the job who is wrong, but it's about perception.
What should we do?
Prove that their perception is wrong. Be a professional teacher. Keep in your mind that being a teacher is such a fun job, sure you will be forever young around the children everyday! You also need to have a high responsibility to your students, so they would respect you more and everything's going well. Believe me, once you are happy with your job, sure you don't even care about people's perception because you do have your own prove about it. And after you proved it, you can slowly change their perception. You just need to be work a little harder to finally have a good result.

2) Students are more likely to underestimate the importance of going to school.
We are absolutely knowing it and, at least once in a lifetime, ever felt it. Study hard for everyday without even knowing what's it all about, struggling with math, practicing subject you don't like, be in a class with a boring teacher, etc. It makes student hate the fact that they should go to school because they don't even know the purpose itself on the first place.
What should we do?
Make an enjoyable learning environment, design your own classroom with your children, let them decide what they want. And, of course you need to teach with various methods, don't ever force student to understand if they don't, it is important to know the capability of your students. Once they're feeling comfort in it, eventually, they will be happy to go to school without pressure and understand about the importance of going to school as they develop more and more in school.

3) There are so many unfortunate kids wishing a better education for themselves.
It is so sad that in fact there are a lot of poor children who cannot go to school because their parents cannot pay for its tuition. Or, maybe you often saw children are striving to go to school by walking miles away only just to get educated in school. That was just a picture of an inequity of education, we can't just be quiet here, so..
What should we do?
Be a volunteer! Teaching can't be done in school only, you can go anywhere and find many unfortunate children. Not only teach about specific subject in school, but try to find something the kids want to study. They are absolutely having a high spirit to study, and you will never get bored teaching them. Be creative because it's all you need.
